CUPCAKES
One of the best things about the Royal Marsden Hospital is its proximity to the delicious Hummingbird Bakery and Ben's Cookies and I plan on sampling as many of their scrummy cakes and cookies as possible over the next few months. CURLS
Potential hair loss is quite a scary part of chemotherapy and since I'm a curly girly I have a lot of hair to lose. However not all chemo leads to hair loss but just in case I plan on buying myself a lovely pink lippie and some pretty headscarves. Before and after mug shots coming soon!
CHEMO
In the next 2 weeks I'll be starting chemotherapy and apparently there are over 900 drugs that can be used. My chemo cocktail is going to include PLATINUM so my insides are gonna be blinged up and worth a fortune!
The most important word in chemotherapy is THERAPY...this is going to make me better and I've been reading a lot of positive feedback on the Macmillan live forums about chemo easing symptoms quickly and not always involving nasty side effects.
